The base for this development is a pair of service shoes,
likely from the 1940s, owned by Mr. Goto of JELADO.
We have recreated the unique details of this early model,
such as the slightly pointier toe than later versions,
six hidden eyelets, and the T-shaped heel.
We used tea-core kip glass leather, which offers a smooth and beautiful luster.
We used a reproduction of the shoe last (form) from a 1941 US Navy
service shoe owned by Mr. Suzuki of The 2 Monkeys,
which was worn by petty officers with their uniforms.
The soles also feature the leather used in original service shoes,
but with added rubber non-slip sheets on the forefoot,
making them easy for everyday wear.
Even the sole engravings have been faithfully reproduced.
With their beautiful glass leather finish and simple, functional design,
these shoes are recommended for those who want to enjoy military style with an elegant touch♪
