An oiled leather uniquely developed by Horween Leather Company in Chicago, USA.

This tannery, with over 100 years of history, is also famous for supplying Cordovan leather to brands like Alden.

During the tanning process of the raw hides, a special blend of oils including beef tallow, beeswax, and fish oil is carefully impregnated over a long period.

Due to its high oil content, it has a deep, luxurious appearance and a moist, substantial feel to the touch.

Pull-up leather, which changes color and impression when stretched, contains more oil within its fibers compared to regular oiled leather,and has the characteristic of its surface brightening when bent.

Each item is handcrafted by artisans who work with leather daily at the ARTBROWN headquarters in Fukuoka City.

From an ecological perspective, we utilize natural marks, wrinkles, and tiger stripes inherent to the cowhide as unique characteristics in our product manufacturing.
