This bag, commonly known as the Postman Bag, was modeled after the mail bags used by American postal workers from the 1900s to the 1960s .
The leather is Chromexcel, made by Horween, a long-established American tannery.
It is just the right size to fit a long wallet, making it easy to use for everyday use.
There is a pocket inside that can hold a cell phone.
The top lid has a snap closure, making it easy to open and close.
The length of the included strap can also be adjusted.
This leather is well-oiled and is tough enough that even minor scratches become less noticeable with some rubbing .
The more you use it, the brown base, known as the brown core, will faintly emerge, creating a unique shade of light and dark.
