CUSHMAN 22192 13.5oz XX DENIM 1937 MODEL
CUSHMAN 22192 13.5oz XX DENIM 1937 MODEL
These denim pants are a 1937 model from Levi's, and are sewn entirely using vintage sewing machines such as Singer and Union Special .
Suspender buttons and a cinch back without belt loops were replaced with belt loops, and as belts became more common, the suspender buttons were eliminated, leaving only belt loops and a cinch back.
This cinch back is a unique detail that was omitted after specifications were changed due to material controls during World War II .
Another distinctive detail is that the exposed rivets that were used for many years to reinforce the back pockets have been replaced with hidden rivets.
“BLUE CYLINDER&CO★JAPAN”
This is the first time we've used original name-engraved tack buttons.
The denim fabric is a blue that emphasizes the blueness seen in pre-war models, and the weft threads have slightly more unevenness than the warp threads, so you can enjoy the rough texture on the back of the fabric.
The silhouette is slightly O-shaped, but it is a regular straight shape that is not too noticeable when worn.
CUSHMAN original tuck button, goat leather patch, iron two-needle SOLIDE pin-point buckle, one wash
