We have a new denim jacket in stock from the "GL3" series, a new series created to replace the discontinued " G3" series!

The "GL3" is the successor to the Toyota G3 power loom, one of Japan's earliest power looms , and is a very rare power loom, with only a few still in existence .

Although this loom has low production efficiency, capable of weaving only about 5 meters per hour , it produces a unique unevenness and rough texture that cannot be achieved with modern denim .

In order to make the most of the characteristics of "GL3", all aspects, such as the uneven shape of the thread, thread count, rope dyeing color , and number of threads vertically and horizontally, are original to D'Artisan.

The warp threads are made of nep yarn, and the weft threads are made of slub yarn with uneven thickness.By weaving these together, a unique uneven texture is created, giving the fabric a rougher feel than the ``G3'' .

This is a piece that allows you to enjoy the rough fading of the color.
