Toyo Enterprise was founded in 1965, starting as a clothing manufacturer for U.S. military bases and a distribution channel for U.S. military surplus in Japan.
Then, in 1975, when the company transitioned to a domestic clothing manufacturer, it was named "SUGAR CANE" by an officer stationed at a U.S. military base.
Since its inception, the company has been committed to "Made in Japan" denim, producing goods for nearly 40 years.
This hat is a pork pie hat made from 10oz denim fabric.
The name "pork pie hat" comes from its resemblance to a pork pie, a British dish (a pie filled with minced pork).
It is said to have originated in the 19th century and became popular among English gentlemen in the latter half of the 19th century.
Made from denim that offers enjoyable aging, this item can be used for a long time and is perfect for everyday coordination.
