Vaudeville was a form of theatre that was popular entertainment in America before the advent of film.

Between 1880 and 1920, when vaudeville was all the rage, there were numerous vaudeville theaters in big cities such as New York, and they were very lively.

The content is also very varied, including singing, dancing, comedy, magic tricks, and more.

Many of the stars of early silent films, such as Charlie Chaplin, Buster Keaton, Laurel and Hardy, and the Marx Brothers, had vaudeville roots.

They traveled from theater to theater.

The 2 Monkeys “VAUDEVILLE” boots are inspired by vaudeville actors who were also traveling performers.

Inspired by American and French boots from around 1910.

These are capped-toe boots with an open lacing, featuring a high toe (also known as a high toe or bulldog toe) and a leather waistband made of separate parts sewn together above and below.

The original wooden last has a slightly oblique toe, and is combined with a small cap, large waist leather, low length, and small heel to create the look of boots from that era.

By combining two different manufacturing methods, we have tightly cinched the waist to recreate the elegant shape of the boots of that time.

The toe has a unique shape with a line, inspired by actors who are used to showing off.

The leather is smooth horsehide (horse front) that retains the natural skin.

Because the leather is not very "decorated," scars and blemishes may become visible as you wear it, but this leather allows you to fully enjoy the characteristics of horse leather, including these.

The soft leather makes it easy to fit your feet. Like the "SPORTIF" boots, they are surprisingly light and comfortable.

The black has a brown core that ages beautifully.

It has a deep color, and you can enjoy the changes that occur over time as the black dye used in the finishing process fades.
