Horween is a leather tanneryfounded in Chicago, USA, in 1905.

For over 100 years, it has continued to create one-of-a-kind leather usingtime-honored traditional methods.

 Horween’s Chromexcel leather is made from steerhide tanned using a combination of chrome and vegetable tanning methods, resulting inleather that is deeply saturated with natural oils.

Because it is thoroughly infused with oil, minor scratches that occur during use can beremoved by brushing or rubbing the leather.

still uses a method developed over 100 years ago to infuse the leather with oil, taking several times longer than ordinary leather.

As the leather is used, the underlying color known as the "core" gradually emerges, allowing you to enjoy a patina unlike that of other leathers.
