Military chinos made to Buzz Rickson's original specifications.
The fabric uses a high-strength cotton chino cloth recreated from vintage materials, featuring a firm texture.
The details incorporate various elements analyzed from chinos of different eras, including 1940s-style double-needle lap seams, handmade double-besom pockets, and a 1960s-style zipper fly.
The silhouette is slimmer than the models from that time.
During World War I, soldiers' pants were in a jodhpurs style known as "BREECHES," but by World War II, this shifted to a trousers (slacks) style, which was officially adopted by the Army Air Forces in 1937.
However, the trousers initially issued were poorly received by soldiers, so the military brought in private companies to improve quality.
As a result of these repeated improvements, various types of military chinos were born.
