BUZZ RICKSON'S BR02536 CAP MECHANICS Type A-3 Military Cap U.S. ARMY Work Cap
The Type A-3 cap was adopted in 1942 for mechanics of the Army Air Forces.
In winter, mechanics typically wore a D-1 shearling jacket over their herringbone twill suit (coveralls), topped with an A-3 cap.
Photos from the war era show mechanics uniformly wearing the cap with the brim flipped up, which prevented the brim from hitting aircraft or other objects when working in cramped spaces.
Due to material characteristics and finishing methods, there may be slight individual differences in measurements in various areas. Additionally, depending on your device settings and environment, the product color may differ slightly from the actual color. Thank you for your understanding.
