BUZZ RICKSON'S BR15763 Type DECK A-2 "BUZZ RICKSON MFG. CO." CAMOUFLAGE VERSION. This camouflage version of the Deck A-2 jacket is a successor to the U.S. Navy's N-1 deck jacket. Crafted from a cotton-nylon blend with woodland camouflage fabric.

The US Navy deck jacket A-2, which appeared as the successor to the deck jacket N-1 , was issued in the early 1960s and is a long-lasting jacket that was used for nearly 30 years.

When it was first adopted in the 1960s, the outer shell was made of thick cotton back satin, but from the 1970s onwards it was improved to a cotton-nylon blend which was lighter, stronger and dried quickly even when wet.

Along with this change in fabric, the ease of production was also reviewed, the chest pocket flap was made straight, and the reinforcement of the cuffs was simplified.

The Deck A-2, made of woodland camouflage fabric, was produced in the 1980s, and although it is not old, it is traded at a high price on the secondhand clothing market due to the scarcity of production numbers.
