BUZZ RICKSON'S BR16041 WORLD WAR II DENIM BLOUSE 1st type
BUZZ RICKSON'S BR16041 WORLD WAR II DENIM BLOUSE 1st type
The denim blouse was created as a result of restrictions imposed during World War II to alleviate shortages of materials .
The pocket flaps that were present on previous models were omitted, and the number of front buttons was reduced from five to four.
The "FOR THE DURATION" written on the flasher means "for the duration of the war," and it states that the specifications were changed due to material controls until the end of the war .
In the 1940s, the U.S. government awarded the "E" pennant, which stood for " Excellent," to companies that produced excellent military supplies .
During the war, Buzz Rickson's served as the contractor for the flight jacket, and the dream of a flasher winning an E Pennant has been realized.
