BUZZ RICKSON'S BR43041 WORLD WAR II WAIST OVERALLS 13.6oz WORLD WAR II WAIST OVERALLS
Denim waist overalls were created as a result of restrictions imposed during World War II to alleviate shortages of supplies.
The rivets on the coin pocket opening and the bar tacks on the hip pockets that were present on previous models were omitted.
The "FOR THE DURATION" written on the flasher means "for the duration of the war," and indicates that the specifications were changed due to material controls until the end of the war.
In the 1940s, the U.S. government awarded the "E" pennant, which stood for "Excellent," to companies that produced superior military supplies .
During the war, Buzz Rickson's served as the contractor for the flight jacket, and the dream of a flasher winning an E Pennant has been realized.
