These are 1940s-style double-knee duck painter pants.
Instead of bar tacks, the stress points are reinforced throughout with UFO-style rivets.
They also feature a crotch rivet.
The curve from the front pocket to the crotch is distinctive, and the bottoms of the pockets are straight.
The back pockets are home-plate shaped, and the lower part of the double stitching is reinforced by sewn-in pocket lining fabric.
The sides are equipped with a hammer loop and a scale pocket.
They are made from thick, heavy 15oz duck canvas, but since the fabric has been bio-washed,
the color has faded nicely and the fabric has been softened, making them comfortable to wear.
