DELUXEWARE 40s DENIM SHIRT 7640, a popular classic long-sleeved 40s denim shirt
Deluxe Wear's 40s denim shirt is made from a denim fabric based on "Jelt denim," a type of denim that was first adopted by a certain manufacturer in 1925 for workwear .
This denim has been made stronger by adding density adjustments to the threads and weave used , and is finished with the same thread count (thickness) and weave (thread density) as the Gelt denim of the time .
This is an item that you will definitely enjoy as it changes over time as you wear it, giving it a unique look!
The duck fabric is based on duck fabric from before the 1950s, before continuous dyeing machines were introduced.
We use duck fabric that has been dyed before weaving on an old-fashioned power loom, following the production process of the time, to give it the texture and feel of a vintage-style fabric.
The shape and details are also distinctive, making this a Deluxe Wear original design shirt that is not found in vintage items.
The design is a fusion of various workwear styles from that time (around the 1940s).
*Since this item is non-washed, it will shrink by about 1 cm when washed.
