JELADO AG21322 Dugout Trousers Work Trousers Work Pants Vintage Work Style
These work trousers are inspired by pants excavated from a coal mine that closed in the early 1900s, and were created based on trousers from the late 1800s to early 1900s owned by Jelado.
This model has been released in various materials over the years, but this time we have reconstructed the pattern, sewing, and specifications to further enhance its completeness.
The material used is LASTRESORT blue tag WABASH fabric.
The sewing was commissioned to REBUILD, and vintage sewing machines such as the SINGER 31 (single-needle lockstitch), SINGER 134 (double-needle lockstitch), and SINGER 99W (eyelet buttonhole) were skillfully used to reproduce the specifications of the time.
The seams on both the inside and outside are finished with flat-felled seams, faithfully following the sewing techniques of the 1910s.
The result is a carefully crafted and substantial finish, reminiscent of the era before mass production systems were established.
The silhouette features a high back, with a classic design where the center back is split.
Equipped with suspender buttons, the front buttons feature a wide fly.
This reproduces the secure fit characteristic of the era.
All buttons are made of metal, and will develop a unique patina and deeper expression with use over time.
The pockets feature topstitching for strength, reproducing the details of old work pants.
While originally designed for an era without belt loops, these have been added for modern wearability and are also securely finished with lockstitching.
Reinforcing fabric is attached to the inside of the waistband, flap pockets, buckle-back, and under the front buttons, allowing you to enjoy the fading and texture changes that appear with use.
The pocket bags use striped slake fabric, following the style of the time, further enhancing the vintage feel.
The rare buckle-back is a detail only seen on older vintage items.
As you wear them, the fabric will naturally fade and develop "atari" (fading lines), so the longer you use them, the more unique they will become.
These trousers are recommended not only for vintage enthusiasts but also for those who seek a work style with attention to detail.
