Baker pants are said to have been named after the bakers who originally wore them.

The M-47 pants, adopted as the successor to the M-43 pants, eliminated the large side cargo pockets and featured urea buttons.

These baker pants use herringbone twill fabric and are characterized by a sturdy feel, available in two colors.

Vintage herringbone from that era used twisted threads to create a distinct, durable ridged fabric.
