JELADO Monkey Trousers CT11344 USMC M-44 Monkey Pants

We have crafted these based on the USMC (United States Marine Corps) M-44 "Monkey Pants," which are currently soaring in market value.

The M-44 Monkey Pants were developed in 1944, toward the end of World War II, and are renowned for their unique design and functionality.

Commonly known as "Monkey Pants," their production period was very short, lasting only from July 1944 to around October 1945. Because they were issued to the US Marine Corps—a small, elite force—the total production count was low, making them highly rare.

These pants were designed for field use, with a focus on ease of movement for maneuvers such as crawling and forward-leaning postures.

A particularly distinctive feature is the large pocket on the back, which was originally designed to store rations and hand grenades.

The material used for this item is the same herringbone twill adopted for the CM47, specially dyed.

Herringbone is a durable fabric with prominent ridges created by varying the twist of the yarn. We have used vat dyes to faithfully reproduce the color tone of vintage items.

As you wear them, they will fade, allowing you to enjoy a deep, vintage-like patina over time.

Furthermore, the iron buttons feature a dome-shaped back, enhancing the authentic vintage atmosphere.
