A historic pair that can be called the roots of Sugar Cane

14.25oz. DENIM UNION STAR JEANS

Toyo Enterprise was founded in 1965, starting out by manufacturing clothing for U.S. military bases and acting as a distribution channel for U.S. military surplus in Japan.

Then, in 1975, when the company transitioned into a domestic clothing manufacturer, it was named "SUGAR CANE" by an officer stationed at a U.S. military base.

Since the very beginning, we have been committed to "Made in Japan" denim for nearly 40 years.

These are the jeans with star-shaped stitching that Sugar Cane produced in the 1960s at the request of the U.S. military PX (post exchange) stationed in Japan.

Based on that very pair, which can be called the brand's roots, these "Star Jeans" have been brought back to life in the modern day.

The silhouette is a regular straight fit close to the 1947 model (Lot No. SC41947).
