This shirt was commissioned by F.R. Tripler, a brand founded in the late 1800s on Madison Avenue in New York, from a Hawaiian Aloha shirt manufacturer.
The vintage collar bears the brand's name, along with a "Made in Hawaii" label emphasizing its Hawaiian origin.
It depicts Hawaiian flowers blooming under the strong tropical sun.
These are abstractly designed, with motifs combined to form a border pattern.
